Suspense-thriller film 'Nelia' is an official entry in this year's MMFF

"Nelia," produced by A and Q Productions Films, Inc., makes it as one of the official films in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival.

The suspense-thriller movie with beauty queen WinWyn Marquez in the lead, will surely intrigue, frighten, jolt and make the holiday audiences scream.

In this movie directed by Lester Dimaranan with screenplay written by one of its producer Melanie Honey Quiño Marquez, portrays the title role, a nurse whose womanly instincts and gut feel are aroused because of the mysterious cases happening in the hospital where she work. To what revelations her curiosity will lead her to uncover, all of it will be unraveled in this contemporary motion picture.

Marquez’s reaction on "Nelia" being part of this year’s MMFF: “I was watching from FB Live nung announcement and kinakabahan ako kasi syempre mga unang movies na binanggit napakalaking mga artista at pinaghandaan na mga pelikula din. Nung biglang binanggit yung synopsis naparecord ako bigla kasi di ako makapaniwala. mixed emotions talaga. Kabado, tuwa, takot etc pero sobrang grateful na napili ang Nelia dahil alam ko buong cast and production binigay lahat nung ginagawa ang film.”

"Nelia" features an impressive cast of Pinoy A-list actors that include Mon Confiado, Dexter Doria, Lloyd Samartino, Dan Alvaro, Ali Forbes, Shido Roxas and Raymond Bagatsing as Dr. Rey.

Completing the cast are Sarah Javier, April Anne Dolot, Massey Sanshoddin, Red Atienza and introducing Juan Carlos Galano and Aldwin Alegre.

The movie was shot in the post card perfect and IG friendly location of Gapan, Nueva Ecija. The power tandem behind A and Q Productions Film, Inc. are Attorney Aldwin F. Alegre and Attorney Mary Melanie H. Quiño.

“Nelia” is the first of many quality and entertaining film offerings from A and Q Productions Film, Inc.
