Paulo Avelino recalls date with Janine Gutierrez

Did you know that reel partners Paulo Avelino and Janine Gutierrez could have been a couple for real?

During a virtual media conference recently, the hunk actor revealed a date with the versatile actress not long ago.

"Alam ko itatanggi na naman ako ni Janine; lumabas na kami dati," he said.

So it's possible they could have entered into a romantic relationship?

Paulo quipped, "Hindi lang natuloy. Kung mangyayari ngayong pagkakataon na ito na single siya at single ako, then okay.”

Janine made clear, though: “Excuse me, never ko dineny.”

Paulo then reiterated how Janine described their date as mere "hanging out."

“Kasi sinabi ko nag-date kami ni Janine dati tapos sabi niya, ‘Hindi ah. Nag-hang out lang tayo.’ So parang nasaktan ako kasi hang out lang pala 'yung dalawang beses tayo lumabas,” Paulo quipped.

Janine eventually gave in and admitted that they indeed went out but described it as a friendly date.
