There was also reportedly some commotion when popular singer Ely Buendia visited the office of presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo; and former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. got a key ally in Manila when Alex Lopez, eldest son of former Manila mayor Gemiliano “Mel” Lopez who would be running for mayor in the city, endorsed his presidential bid and joined his Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP).

Meanwhile, President Duterte has appointed a new commissioner in lawyer Rey Bulay.
