Liberian allowed to travel to Canada after staying at NAIA for 2 1/2 years

After more than two years of staying at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2 as a stranded passenger, a Liberian national was finally approved to travel to Canada.

This, after his request for asylum as refugee was granted.

Johnson Emmanuel Josiah, 44, was transferred to the NAIA terminal 1 in preparation of his flight to Canada in the coming days.

Based on the record of Bureau of Immigration, he arrived last April 21, 2019 via Philippine Airline flight PR-383 from Guangzhuo China.
