908 examinees pass November 2021 midwife board exam

A total of 908 out of 1,774 examinees passed the November 2021 Midwife Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said Friday, Nov. 11.

According to the PRC, Yesa Papa Garganera from the Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital School of Midwifery topped the examination with a rating of 89.80 percent.

St. Alexius College emerged as the top performing school in the examination with a 92.54 percent passing rate. A total of 62 out of its 67 graduates who took the exam passed, the PRC said.

It was followed by the Iloilo Doctors' College with a passing rate of 88.17 percent after 82 of its 93 graduates passed the exam.

The midwife licensure exam was conducted in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, San Fernando, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.

“From December 17 to December 21, 2021, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line,” the PRC said.
