As the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to push people into adapting to the work-from-home scheme, the line between work and home is becoming blurred, such as what happened to New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinta Ardern.
During her address to the nation via Facebook Live on Thursday, Ardern was interrupted by her three-year-old daughter Neve, earning the smiles of the internet world.
While the prime minister was giving COVID-19 updates, Neve was heard calling her mom wherein Ardern responded with "You're meant to be in bed, darling,"
"It's bedtime, darling. Pop back to bed, I'll see you in a second," she added, before asking Neve to go to her grandmother.
"Well, that was a bedtime fail, wasn't it," Ardern said while laughing at the unexpected moment.
When Neve returned, Ardern was heard saying "I'm sorry, darling, it is taking so long," before saying she would be ending the livestream.
The prime minister's moment with her daughter has become a common experience among other parents who are remotely working at their homes due to the pandemic.
