Mayor Emi joins Christmas tree lighting at Hilton Manila

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano joined the Christmas tree lighting at Hilton Manila on Nov. 10.

The colourful giant Christmas tree at Hilton Manila was lighted that symbolizes the coming of Holiday season.

Rubiano said the lighting of the colourful big Christmas tree at Hilton Manila also symbolizes that the city is slowly recovering from COVID-19 pandemic.

She also said the start of lighting of giant Christmas tree not only in Pasay but in other areas also symbolized recovery from the economy and industries.

The mayor is also praying for the continued downgrade of COVID-19 cases in the city to have everybody a happy Christmas this year.

Rubiano was joined during the giant Christmas tree by her brother, city’s lone Representative Antonino Calixto, Hilton Manila General Manager Simon McGrath; Department of Tourism Assistant Secretary and DOT-National Capital Region Regional Director Woodrow Maquiling Jr. and Miss Universe 2021 Bea Gomez.
