Inday Sara's membership a huge honor for Lakas-CMD, says Revilla

Senator Ramon ‘’Bong’’ Revilla Jr,, chairman of Lakas-CMD party, on Thursday Nov. 11 said his party is more than honored that Davao city Mayor Sara chose to become member of the party.

’'We have worked with Mayor Sara in the past, and in fact continue to be allies in coalition with her former local party - Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP),’’ he said.

'’Mahaba na po ang kasaysayan ng LAKAS sa paglilingkod-bayan (Lakas has a long history of serving the country). Our Christian-Muslim-Democratic principles have guided our members in the past three decades, and we continue to build a proud legacy for the country,’’ Revilla stressed.

Revilla said his party is giving its all out support to whatever endeavors Sara want to do.

‘’We will work to assure her success and triumph, which will also be the success and triumph of the Party, of the nation, and of all Filipinos,’’ he added.

After her resignation from HNP, Sara attended the wedding of a daughter of Senator Revilla in Cavite with former Senator Ferdinand ‘’Bongbong’’ R. Marcos Jr, as part of a group of wedding sponsors (ninang and ninongs) .

After the wedding, Sara took her oath as oath as member of Lakas-CMD before party president and House of Representatives Majority Leader Martin Romualdez.

Romualdez is the cousin of Bongbong Marcos, the presidential aspirant under the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) banner.

Also in the wedding ceremony is Senator Ronald ‘’Bato’’ dela Rosa, standard-bearer of Partido Demokratikong Pilipino (PDP)-Laban party.
