Two children died in a fire that broke out in a residential area in Barangay 185, Caloocan City on Thursday morning (Nov. 11).
According to a report from ABS-CBN, the casualties were a seven-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy.
The remains of the victims were found in the debris of the burned house next door at around 7:00 a.m.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Public Information Office, the fire reached the first alarm at around 1:05 a.m. and was declared under control at 1:47 a.m.
The fire was extinguished at 3:20 a.m.
At least 15 houses were damaged by the blaze.
The estimated damage to property was estimated at P100,000.
Investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
