Acknowledging the importance of children in shaping the future of Bulacan, Gov. Daniel R. Fernando on Wednesday, Nov. 10, encouraged Bulakenyos to join the month-long celebration of National Children’s Month this November via Zoom and Facebook Live.
Fernando said in line with this year’s theme: "New Normal na Walang Iwanan: Karapatan ng Bawat Bata Ating Tutukan," the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Rowena Joson-Tiongson will carry out the Child Development Workers Assembly and Oath Taking of newly elected officers of Provincial Federation of Child Development Workers on Nov. 16 at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in the City of Malolos.
They are also inviting all Local Councils for the Protection of Children (LCPC) in Central Luzon to join the LCPC Quiz Bowl on the same date. They are required to pre-register via Google Form: https://bit.ly/LCPCQuizBowl.
The LCPC Quiz Bowl is open to all City/Municipal LCPCs. To join, participants should be one team with three members (two LCPC members and one child representative) wherein only one laptop/device is required per team, one zoom participant per LCPC, and questions will come from Children’s Rights, Laws, and Policies on Children, LCPC Functionality, Issues on Child Rights, and CFLGA-related information.
Fernando also encouraged young Bulakenyos, 8-19 years old, who want to develop and discover their talents and abilities to join the Regional I CAN! Talent Camp on Nov. 13-14, 2021.
