What you need to know about Blackpink's Lisa's very first makeup collection

“This is my dream come true.”

Beauty enthusiasts and Blackpink fans rejoice as an exciting makeup collection is about to be released. “I’m so excited to reveal to you one of my biggest projects so far as the global ambassador of MAC Cosmetics: my very own full-face makeup collection,” reveals Blackpink Lisa Manobal.

“I curated the collection myself and designed every piece after things I absolutely love. Every shade, product, name and even the packaging design represents something very special to me,” she adds.

“I am so proud of what we’ve created together,” she continues. “I love that M•A•C gave me the creative freedom to bring my own makeup lineup to life! This is my dream come true,” says the performer who has 60 million followers on Instagram.

Fans also couldn’t get enough of her style, down to her beauty looks which got the attention of global brand MAC Cosmetics which led to the inception of MAC X L makeup collaboration. Regan Rabanal, MAC education director, APAC, adds, “It’s Designed by LISA herself, this exclusive collection has everything to make you feel confident and beautiful for your epic holiday moment. Now it’s easier than ever to get Lisa’s look with shades that go from day to play!”

Lisa loves makeup and she’s comfortable with how she wears her beauty picks. This is how she wants her fans to feel when they purchase products from this collection. It’s made for all ages, all races, and all genders. She “wanted the M•A•C x L Eye Shadow Palette to be a versatile lineup that can effortlessly create naturally soft and sultry looks for every day—or glam looks for a night out by embracing a bold balance of mattes, shimmers and glitters.”

COLLECTOR'S COLLECTION. Lisa considered all age and all genders when she was conceptualizing these beauty products.

As for the lip products, she “made sure there’s a shade for everyone with a mix of colours and tones I personally love,” she explains. “Powder Kiss Liquid Lipcolour has been my go-to formula for on-stage and in my music videos; it lasts a really long time and is so comfortable to wear,” adds Lisa. “I’m very happy and proud to share with you the three brand-new shades that I have created and named – Rhythm ‘N’ Roses, Swoon For Blooms and Pink Roses.”

FAVORITE COLOR Lisa added yellow for a fun contrast to the sparkling purple packaging.

The packing comes sparkling purple with hints of her favorite color yellow. Of course, my signature on the packaging had to be in one of my favorite colors—yellow! But instead of regular yellow, I went with a special fluoro-yellow to represent neon lights that give a cool, hip-hop and urban vibe to the collection.” Rabal adds, “Fans will love this sparkling package design and the accent of her embossed signature in yellow. It’s really like a collector’s item!”

Aside from these new products, Lisa also added her all-time favorites including Powder Blush in Melba and two Brushstroke 24-Hour Liners in Brushblack and Brushbrown which she uses to pull off her signature liner looks.

They even prepared a special gift-with-purchase—cross-body lipstick holder that comes in LISA’s ultraviolet sparkle—and it’s even ready for personalization. “Watch out for my special stickers pack to decorate your M•A•C x L collection and this handy on-trend holder with all the

things I love,” says LISA.

Keep an eye on the MAC X L Eye Shadow Palette with shades that are “inspired by my beloved cats and favorite ice cream flavor with names such as Leo, Louis, Lily, Milk Tea Ice Cream and Candy Rapper,” reveals Lisa. Even the Extra Dimension Skinfinish is embossed with her favorite edelweiss flower.

So many thoughtful details that were put into this collection. “The team and I put so much energy and attention to detail into this collection; I channelled the same passion, joy and creativity I give to making music into creating this exclusive collection for my fans.”

The launch is set this December—perfect for the holidays. “This makeup collab will definitely be the hottest holiday ticket and will surely sell out in the blink of an eye!” says Rabanal. “I hope you love the products as much as I do and enjoy discovering more of me and the things I love,” ends Lisa.
