Help Miss Philippines Beatrice Luigi Gomez enter the semis of the 2021 Miss Universe Competition!

The Miss Universe Organization announced today, Nov. 10, that online voting for the Miss Universe 2021 Competition has started.

To vote, visit vote.missuniverse.com or download the Miss Universe Official app and follow the instructions to vote.

You may vote once per contest (on the android and iOS application) by pressing on the yellow star for free by pressing on the green star on the image of your chosen candidate, after which you may cast additional votes with no limit by pressing on the gold star on the image of your chosen candidate and selecting the voting pack of your choice for purchase using mobile operator and/or credit card billing, depending on your country. 

"Hurry - the more you vote, the better your favorite delegate’s chances of becoming the next Miss Universe! Voting ends at 12:00pm ET on Dec. 11th."

Eighty-one girls are competing for the coveted title of 2021 Miss Universe, which will be held in Israel.

Gomez is the Philippine representative to the 2021 Miss Universe Competition which will be held in Israel on Dec. 12.

She is a community development worker, a Philippine Navy Marines Reservist under the 82nd Marine Battalion Reserve of the Naval Reserve Center of Eastern Visayas, and a proud bisexual who became the first member of the LGBTQIA+ community to win the Miss Universe Philippines title.

Gomez was the appointed president of Rotaract Club of Metro Mandaue 2006, a Rotary-sponsored service club and a non-profit organization that aims to address the concerns of the community, enhance the professional and leadership skills of an individual, and promote good relations between all people worldwide.

She is currently taking up a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication at the University of San Jose. She is passionate about social welfare, offering outreach programs to the most vulnerable communities in Cebu City.

Gomez is an advocate of youth empowerment and has been closely working with Children in Contact with the Law at a juvenile facility called Operation Second Chance of the Department of Social Welfare Services of Cebu City.

"I'm a sports enthusiast and played in the volleyball varsity team for 6 years from high school to college," she said.

"I used to be a socially awkward person who suffered social anxiety for many years and my dream is to one day become a life coach and motivational speaker.

"A few weeks before the Miss Universe Philippines competition, I joined a virtual race and ran 42 kilometers for the benefit of children who are victims of the armed conflict in Negros," Gomez added.
