Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte led the groundbreaking ceremony for priority housing projects in the city on Wednesday, Nov.10.
Mayor Belmonte was joined by QC Housing and Community Development and Resettlement Department head Ramon Asprer, Chairman Teresa Montalbo, Councilor TJ Calalay, former QC Vax to Normal co-chairman Joseph Juico, and former councilor Ollie Belmonte during the event.

The groundbreaking was held for a three-storey socialized housing project and a 12-storey housing project in Barangay Balingasa.
Mayor Belmonte said that the city government is aiming to provide decent and affordable housing for the residents.
The Socialized Housing Project No. 32 will benefit around 363 families.
Meanwhile, the "Katiyakan sa Paninirahan" project targets to benefit about 17,000 indigent families.
On Thursday, Mayor Belmonte together with HCDRD also held a public dialogue with residents of Brgy. Batasan Hills about the direct sale housing program.
