John Riel Casimero and Jayson Mama headline the inaugural championship event of Probellum on Dec. 11 at the Coca-Cola arena in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Casimero stakes his WBO bantamweight title against United Kingdom’s Paul Butler while Mama challenges Sunny Edwards for the IBF flyweight title.

Dubbed as “Probellum: Evolution”, the event brings together some of the finest fighters across the globe.

Casimero carries a 31-4 win-loss record that included 21 knockouts and is coming off a victory over Guillermo Rigondeaux last August.

Touted as “one of the most devastating punchers in the division”, the Filipino fighter seeks to keep his momentum going in his third world championship defense against Butler, who has a 33-2 win-loss mark highlighted by 15 knockouts.

Mama and Edwards, meanwhile, are finally facing this time after their initial match last September in the United Kingdom was postponed.

Both fighters remain undefeated in 16 matches with Edwards winning four knockouts and Mama knocking out his nine rivals.

World champion Donnie Nietes will also appear on the card.

"The two world title fights see John Riel Casimero face Paul Butler, while Sunny Edwards takes on Jayson Mama, and both of those bouts are set to be guaranteed excitement," said Richard Schaefer, President of Probellum.

"With the likes of Donnie Nietes, Archie Sharp and Jono Carroll all competing too, fans will be treated to a night of non-stop action. We cannot wait for fight night and are proud to bring this historic event to the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai."
