TACLOBAN CITY - Dozens of supporters of vice presidential aspirant and Senator Christopher Lawrence 'Bong' Go from Southern Leyte, Eastern Samar, and Northern Samar join the nationwide caravan held simultaneously in different areas around the country Saturday, November 6.
In Eastern Samar, Governor Ben Evardone said the motorcade in the province started at around 6:00 a.m. in three different jumpoff points: Jipapad town in the north, Guiuan town in the south, and Lawaan in the appendix area.
The caravan then converged in its capital Borongan City.In Northern Samar, led by PDP-Laban (Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan) local leaders, vehicles with red and blue flags and ribbons drove around its capital town in Catarman and nearby towns of Bobon and Mondragon.
The supporters also sported blue and red shirts in support of the former presidential aide of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Meanwhile, In Maasin City Southern Leyte, over 70 vehicles also staged a caravan to signify their support for Go who aims to sustain the development programs of his former boss.
Go is running under the Cusi-led faction of the ruling PDP-Laban, whose candidate for president is Sen. Ronald 'Bato' dela Rosa, also a close ally of the president.
