DAGUPAN CITY, Pangasinan — The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPO) on Friday, November 5, installed its new provincial director.
PCol. Richmond Laranang Tadina, former Police Regional Office 1 (PRO1) Operations Division chief will replace PCol. Ronald V. Gayo as acting provincial director.
Gayo, in an interview Friday, said he will serve as the chief-of-staff of the PNP Aviation Security Group (AVSEGroup).

In an interview, Tadina said he would focus on maintaining the province’s peace and order situation.
He said he will focus on solving shooting incidents in the province, while taking steps for anti-criminality.
Tadina also said he will emulate and maintain Gayo’s accomplishments and projects in the province.
It could be recalled that on Gayo’s watch, the Pangasinan PPO has focused on anti-illegal drug, anti-carnapping, anti-illegal gambling operations, and the pursuit of wanted persons.
Charges have been filed against around 5,000 individuals in courts, while around 2,000 have been put behind bars.
More than 846.526 grams of shabu and 17,472.377 grams of marijuana were also confiscated during their operations.
Meanwhile, Gayo is confident his successor will surpass his current accomplishments as provincial director.
Tadina, a native of San Fernando City, La Union, is a graduate of PNPA batch 1998.
