Davaoeño tops Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination

DAVAO CITY â€” A graduate from the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) here topped the recent Electronics Engineer Licensure Examinations.

David XYZ Temple Callena got 92.80% in the October 2021 Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination.

Callena was followed by another Mindanaoan, Hashim Monir Mokamad Ambia from Mindanao State University in General Santos City. Ambia got 92%.

Callena also got the second highest spot in Electronics Technicians Licensure Examinations with a rating of 94%.

Two other examinees from Mindanao were included in the list of the successful examinees who garnered the ten highest places in the exam. They were Johaimen Madid Omar (8th spot) from Mindanao State University in Marawi City who got 88.10 and Alyssa Mayette Caraang (10th spot) who is also a graduate of USeP and got 87.70.

In a statement on Thursday, Nov. 4, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said "710 out of 1,484 passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination and 738 out of 974 passed the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination given by the Board of Electronics Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last October 2021."
