Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula appointed Fathers Isidro Marinay and Carmelo Arada as chancellor and vice chancellor, respectively.

The Archdiocese of Manila Office of Communications posted the circular letter announcing the appointment of the two priests on Thursday, Nov. 4 on Facebook.

In the circular letter, Fr. Reginald Malicdem, the current chancellor, said their appointments will take effect on Nov. 15.

Malicdem then thanked all those in the archdiocese for the opportunity to serve as their chancellor.

"Thank you for the opportunity to serve you as chancellor of the archdiocese for the past six years," he said.

Malicdem became chancellor of the Manila archdiocese in August 2015.
