In its data, Domagoso was the top choice for president, with a nationwide tally of 25.39 percent.

He was followed by former Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. with 23.10 percent and Vice President Leni Robredo with 18.31 percent.

The RPMD, however, said, "if the May 2022 elections transpired during the survey period, Isko Moreno would score a 2.29 percent win with 25.39 percent of the country’s voting population."

“However, with 2 percent (+/-) margin of error, it will be a .29 percent lead for Isko over Bongbong Marcos who garnered 23.10 percent support from the voters,” said Dr. Paul Martinez of RPMD.

In the fourth place was Sen. Emmanuel "Manny” Pacquiao with a 17.88 percent rating, followed by Sen. Panfilo "Ping" Lacson with 7.08 percent; Ronald “Bato” De la Rosa with 3.41 percent; and Ernesto “Ernie” Abella with 0.81 percent.

The remaining 4.02 percent of the respondents either refused to answer or were undecided.

Meanwhile, presidential daughter Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio led the top choice for vice president, with 33.11 percent of Filipinos expressing their support for her.

She was followed by Sen. Vicente "Tito" III Sotto with 26,87 percent, and Christopher "Bong" Go with 14.92 percent.

The RPMD survey was conducted during the period of October 17 to 26, with 10,000 face-to- face respondents.

Respondents were asked the question, "Who would you vote for President if the election will be held today?"
