Out of the 78,924 coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases in the province of Bulacan, 76,194 or 96% have already recovered and 1,393 or 2 % are active cases, the Provincial Health Office (PHO) reported on Friday, Oct. 8.
In its report to Governor Daniel R. Fernando, the PHO said that three new additional deaths were verified, bringing the total number of COVID-19-related mortality to 1,337.
Of the 1,393 active cases, 252 are admitted in the hospitals, 245 are at the Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility (TTMF), while 896 are on home isolation.
Fernando said the continuous decline of the COVID-19 active cases is good news, but the people should not be complacent even those vaccinated because the virus is still around.
He said the people should always wear a face mask and a face shield and never forget to practice social distancing.
