Omega Esports split its first two assignments to start its campaign in Day 1 of the Call of Duty: Mobile 2021 Championships Garena Qualifier on Thursday, October 7.
Omega yielded to Almighty, 2-1, in its first game in the tournament but quickly bounced back with a dominant 3-0 sweep of Raptors.DNS to finish at the second spot of Group A standing after Day 1.
JC “Jayzee” Rivera led the attack for the Filipinos in their second match, with an average of 18 kills and 4.33 assists against 10 deaths for an average score of 2058.33 against Raptors.DNS to take the Soldier of the Game citation.

After the tough loss in its first match, Omega regained its footing in a dominant fashion with quick work of Raptor DNS. The Filipinos vented out their frustrations in the Hardpoint Game 1, annihilating DNS, 150-82, in Summit to open up the series.

The Filipinos carried the momentum to the Search and Destroy, blitzing the Taiwanese to four straight points on the attacker's side in Raid. DNS was able to steal two points from Omega after the switch but the Filipinos went on to take the victory, 6-2.

Omega closed out the series in the Domination Game 3 with a 150-103 victory in Takeoff.

The series sweep over DNS should come as a welcome response for the Filipinos after dropping their first game of the tournament against Almighty earlier in the day.
Almighty immediately took control of the game right off the gates in Hardpoint in Game 1. The Indonesian squad quickly took over Standoff en route to a 150-140 victory to open up the series.
The Search and Destroy Game 2 was a much more dominant game for Almighty as it clobbered Omega 6-1 in Firing Range. The Indonesians scored the first two points on the defender’s side before Omega put itself in the scoreboard on the next play. Almighty, though, secured the next two points before switching to the attacker’s side to score two more to close out the game.
Omega finally woke up in the Domination Game 3, pulling off a better performance with a 150-116 victory in Crossfire. Kennedy “Idra” Mondoy and Jerrold “Woopie” Regay led the Filipinos with 22 kills each to help Omega avoid a sweep and snatch a point from Almighty.
