Lani Revilla seeks congressional seat, son Bryan files COC for board member

Bacoor City Mayor Lani M. Revilla filed her Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for Cavite’s 2nd district representative on Friday (Oct. 8).

Mayor Revilla previously served as the representative of the lone district of Bacoor from 2010 to 2016.

The actress-turned-politician filed her COC with House Deputy Speaker and incumbent Cavite 2nd District Rep. Strike B. Revilla, who will be running for Bacoor city mayor.

Mayor Revilla and Senator Bong Revilla's son, Bryan Revilla, also filed his COC to represent the 2nd district in the Provincial Board of Cavite.

The couple's other son, incumbent Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla, filed his COC for Cavite 1st district representative on Oct. 7.
