Laguna Gov. Hernandez files COC for reelection

LAGUNA - Gov. Ramil L. Hernandez filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) on Thursday (October 7) seeking a third term as the province's chief executive.

In a Facebook post, Hernandez thanked his supporters who went with him to the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) office in Calamba to file his COC while observing social distancing and minimum health protocols.

Hernandez filed his COC together with Vice Governor Karen Agapay and Laguna 2nd District Rep. Ruth Mariano-Hernandez, both of whom are also seeking reelection.

Gov. Hernandez will be running against former broadcast journalist and incumbent Laguna 3rd District Rep. Sol Aragones, who filed her COC for governor on October 5.
