Jeric Raval opens up on daughter AJ's relationship with Aljur Abrenica

Jeric Raval admitted that he is worried as to how people perceive the ongoing romance of his daughter, AJ, and recently separated hunk actor Aljur Abrenica.

It got to a point where he actually confronted Aljur about it.

He related in an interview on Pep.ph: “Una kaming nagkita niyan sa PDEA office dahil inihatid niya ang anak ko. Doon ko siya unang nakausap at tatlong bagay lang ang itinanong ko sa kanya. Una, nanliligaw ba siya sa anak ko? He answered me, ‘Yes po.' Second, kung 'ikaw ba ay hiwalay na?' Third, 'Ano kaya ang sasabihin ko sa biyenan mo (Robin Padilla) kung aksidenteng magkita kami?'"

Jeric explained why he quizzed the actor.

“Magkaibigan kami ni Robin, kaya hindi mo maiaalis sa akin na medyo mahiya sa sitwasyon dahil ayokong isipin ng mga tao o ninuman na ang dahilan ng pagkakahiwalay nila o third party, e, ang anak ko," he said.

“Sabi ko pa sa kanya, 'I have nothing against you, kaya lang kaibigan ko ang biyenan mo. Kung in good faith naman ang panliligaw mo sa anak ko, well, then kailangan nasa ayos ang lahat.' Gaya nga ng nasabi ko, hindi magiging masaya ang isang relasyon kung may natatapakan,'" he added.
