Radio host Carl Balita files COC for senator

Radio host and review center entrepreneur Carl Balita filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) for senator in the May 2022 polls on Thursday, Oct. 7.

Balita will run under Aksyon Demokratiko, which is led by presidential aspirant Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.

"Isa ako sa mga Pilipinong nangangarap mapaunlad ang ating bayan. Ang pandemya ay nagbigay ng tatlong klaseng krisis: health crisis, economic crisis, and learning crisis. Kung kaya't nagkaroon po tayo ng tatlong magigiting na frontliners: health, economic, and learning frontliners (I am one of the Filipinos who dream of developing our country. The pandemic has created three kinds of crisis: health crisis, economic crisis, and learning crisis. So we have three brave frontliners: health, economic, and learning frontliners)," Balita said.

"Ito ang naging inspirasyon ko para mabuo ang aking political agenda: kalusugan, karunungan, kabuhayan (This what inspired me to form my political agenda: health, knowledge, and livelihood)," he continued, noting that he will also represent small and medium entrepreneur in the Senate should he win.

Balita is known for founding the Carl Balita Review Center which has 120 branches nationwide.

He is also a registered midwife, a registered nurse, and a registered teacher.
