Partylist hopeful Duterte Kbgan seeks to represent 'former youth' in Congress

Partylist hopeful Duterte Kaibigan (Kbgan) filed its certificate of nomination and acceptance (CONA) on Thursday, Oct. 7, for the May 2022 polls, seeking to represent "former youth" in Congress.

Duterte Kgban President Bernardo Tensuan said the Philippines is a "corrupted nation" due to the "shallow" love of every Filipino in their country.

Should the group win a partylist seat in Congress, Tensuan said the group will represent "former youth."

" kalimitan ay mga dating kabataan na matatanda na ngayon (We represent mostly former young adults who are old now)," Tensuan said.

"Alam mo naman siguro na the partylist no longer represents the sectoral and we want to represent the majority ng ating mamamayan, yung kapakanan, puri ng ating mamamayan (You probably know that the partylist no longer represents the sectoral and we want to represent the majority of our people, their welfare, the pride of our people)," he added.

While Tensuan stressed that Duterte Kbgn "is not related to Duterte," he revealed that it was the President who inspired them to name the group after him because "he is phenomenal."
