Jolo Revilla files COC for Cavite representative

Former actor and Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for Cavite 1st district representative on Thursday (Oct. 7).

The 1st congressional district of Cavite consists of Cavite City, Kawit, Noveleta, and Rosario.

On Sept. 22, Revilla took oath as a member of the Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas–CMD) in a ceremony officiated by party president and House Majority Leader Martin Romualdez.

Revilla will be vying for the congressional seat to be vacated by incumbent Cavite 1st district Rep. Boy Blue Aguinaldo Abaya, who is on his third term. Abaya has already filed his COC to run as the mayor of Kawit.
