Imus Mayor Maliksi seeks congressional seat

Imus, Cavite Mayor Emmanuel Maliksi filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) as the first nominee of Buklod Filipino Partylist on Wednesday (October 6).

Maliksi filed his COC together with his co-nominees, Batangas City Vice Mayor Jun Berberabe and Imus Councilor Vince Amposta.

With Maliksi vacating the mayoral seat, Imus lone district Rep. Alex L. Advincula filed on October 5 his COC for city mayor with former Imus mayor Homer Saquilayan as his running mate.

Maliksi's wife, Jelyn Maliksi, on the other hand, also filed her COC for city councilor on October 5.
