Direk Mae Cruz-Alviar promises to make people happy in KathNiel's comeback series

In her reunion project with box-office love team Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, director Mae Cruz Alviar vows to make "2 Good 2 Be True," a project that will bring entertainment and inspiration to viewers.

"We will do our best to offer a project that will give people a breather from what they are going through right now. This is our mission. This is our vision. And this is what we will aim to do," Direk Mae said during the series' cast reveal.

"2 Good 2 Be True" signifies not only the return of the country's premiere love team, but also marks the team-up of KathNiel with Direk Mae, who worked together in blockbuster films "Crazy Beautiful You" and "Can't Help Falling in Love."

Coming from the success of her two recent films, "Four Sisters Before the Wedding" and "Love or Money," which were both shot in the middle of the pandemic, the renowned director assured her cast that their safety is a top priority.

"I promise we will take care of all of you. For us, whether ang reason na ito ay for work or out of gusto natin maka-entertain, we are all in this together," she stated.

The series, which will begin taping this month, is produced by ABS-CBN Entertainment’s RGE Unit, which is the same team behind "Bagong Umaga," "Ipaglaban Mo," "Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit, and "Pamilya Ko."
