Almost 13K DSWD personnel fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Almost 13,000 employees of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) have already been fully vaccinated against coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The DSWD reported that a total of 12,972 employees from Central Office and Field Offices (FOs) have completed their two-dose regimen as of Sept. 30.

It said 15,492 personnel have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

“The DSWD continues to put a premium on the health and safety of its employees by facilitating their vaccination against COVID-19,” it said in a statement.

The employees of DSWD belong to the A4 priority group as part of the government workforce.

The vaccination of the DSWD personnel was made possible in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH).

“Likewise, the DSWD will also continue with its regular disinfection and sanitation activities to prevent and mitigate the spread of COVID-19, and ensure workplace safety in all its offices across the country,” the DSWD said.
