Mayor Joy Belmonte files COC for 2nd term as QC Mayor

Incumbent Mayor Maria Josefina Tanya "Joy" Belmonte has filed her Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for a second term as Quezon City Mayor on Tuesday, at the Commission on Elections (Comelec) office in Quezon City.

Belmonte filed her COC with her running mate, Vice Mayor Gian Sotto.

She served as QC Vice Mayor from 2010-2019.

On Monday, Representative Mike Defensor has confirmed that he will be running for QC Mayor and will file his COC on Oct. 7.
