26 partylist aspirants file CONAs on Day 5

Twenty six partylist aspirants filed their certificate of nomination and acceptance (CONA) for the May 2022 elections on Tuesday, Oct. 5.

Among the early birds during the fifth day were Talino at Galing ng Pinoy (TGP), Guardians Philippines Inc. (GWPII), Construction Workers Solidarity (CWS), Galing sa Puso (GP), Senior Citizen, and Barkadahan.

The Igorot Warriors International, Akma, Magdalo, Angat Edukasyon PARE, Trabaho, Koop Kampi, 4Ps, Maharlika, Lingkod Bayanahian, and ACT Teachers also filed their CONAs.

Other partylist aspirants so far were PEACE, A-TEACHER, Barangay Health Workers (BHW), Green Force, Angkla, Kapamilya, Smile, AKO OFW, OFW Coalition, and Bumper PTDA.

As of Tuesday, there are a total of 74 partylist hopefuls in the May 2022 polls.

The COC filing period will run until Oct. 8.
