Vice Mayor Honey vows to continue Isko's projects, programs in Manila

Manila Vice Mayor Ma. Sheilah "Honey" Lacuna-Pangan vowed to continue all the projects and programs initiated by Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso if she wins the mayoral race in May 2022.

"Kung sakali na mabigyan po tayo ng pagtitiwala at pagkakataon na mahalal bilang alkalde ng Maynila, unang-una po ay sisiguraduhin na ‘yung mga maiiwan na proyekto at programa ni Yorme ay maipagpapatuloy natin nang maayos. 'Yan naman po ang kabilin-bilinan niya (In case I will be given a chance to be the next mayor of Manila, first of all I will make sure that all the projects and programs of Mayor Isko will be sustained properly. That’s what he wants me to do," Lacuna-Pangan said.

Lacuna-Pangan officially announced on Sept. 23 that she will run for Manila mayor in the 2022 elections.

Mayo Isko earlier said that the city will be in good hands in case Lacuna succeeds him as chief executive of the nation's capital.

The vice mayor assured the residents that health-related programs implemented in the city will be continued and will be further improved.

"Lahat po ng mga programa na makakatulong po sa inyo ay ipagpapatuloy po ni Doktora Honey Lacuna (All of the programs that would help you are going to be continued by Dr. Honey Lacuna)," she said.

She promised to further improve the health services in the city by building a "super health center" in every district of the city.

She also plans to create a "halfway house" for street dwellers.
