'Ping, ping, ping': Chef Boy Logro files CONA for Aangat Kusinerong Pinoy partylist

Celebrity chef Pablo "Boy" Logro filed the certificate of nomination and acceptance (CONA) for Aangat Kusinerong Pinoy partylist on Monday, Oct. 4, at the Sofitel Harbor Garden Tent in Pasay City.

Logro is known for his cooking shows "Idol sa Kusina" and "Chef Boy Logro: Kusina Master.

"Ang aking pagtakbo po ay isang advocacy, isang legacy na gusto kong iwanan sa mga nangangarap na maging chef din (I am running this election because this is my advocacy, this is my legacy that I want to leave to those who dream of becoming chefs)," Logro said.

"Simple lang naman ang aking pangarap, ang ipagpatuloy ang eskwelahan, maging libre na sya sa lahat ng gustong mag-aral. Libreng pag-aaral sa mga tao, sapagkat ang pagluluto ay madaling gawin (My dream is simple, to continue implementing free education. Free education for the public, because cooking is easy to do)," he added.

As of Oct. 4, the total number of partylist groups seeking representation in Congress went up to 48.
