Mayor Emi files COC with 'Team Calixto'

Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano filed her certificate of candidacy on Monday, October 4, together with “Team Calixto” at the Level 2 South Entertainment SM Mall of Asia.

Rubiano was accompanied by her husband Egay and eldest daughter Dr. Nicole in filing her COC for a second term as the city mayor.

She was also joined by her elder brother, Congressman Antonino Calixto who is also vying for his second term as lone representative of Pasay; Vice-Mayor Boyet del Rosario and the Team Calixto Councilors: Mark Calixto, Grace Santos, Tonya Cuneta, Ambet Alvina, Marlon Pesebre, and Ding Santos for District I, and Councilors – Joey Calixto-Isidro, Donna Vendivel, and Wowee Mangeura for District II.

Those who finished their terms as City Councilors were replaced by Angelo Arceo, Jen Panaligan, and Zeng Dela Torre Padua.

Rubiano, in filing her COC, said she intends to continue her program of government under HELP which stands for Health and Housing; Education, Environment, Economy, Livelihood, and Peace and Order.

“Marami pa po tayong kailangang gawin at tapusin para sa kapakanan ng ating mga kababayan lalo na sa pagpapaunlad ng kanila buhay sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng hanapbuhay at sana ay pagbigyan nila ako and pagkatiwalaan muli, ( I still have a lot to do for our residents especially in creating more jobs for them. I wish for them to continue giving me their trust)," Rubiano said.

The mayor and the entire “Team Calixto” will run under the banner of the ruling PDP-Laban.

Rubiano also expressed confidence that greater things and economic progress are ahead for Pasay City as she intends to lead her people there once re-elected.
