For the love of pets: Vista Mall, Starmall mark World Animal Day

To show love for their pets, furr-parents trooped to Vista Mall and Starmall last weekend during the Villar Group’s free anti-rabies vaccination drive and pet blessing in select branches in Metro Manila, Southern Tagalog and Central Luzon.

Along with their fur moms and dads, doggies and cats were all geared up to mark the World Animal Day, which is observed every year on the feast day of St. Francis Assisi, the patron saint of animals. Evia Lifestyle Center topped the list, followed by Global South and NOMO, with the most number of pets that got their anti-rabies jabs, Local veterinarian Dr. August Basangan supervised the activity in Global South.

Vista Mall in Taguig had the most number of pets blessed, followed by Dasmariñas and Lakefront, making up a total of 379 pets also treated to a day of strolling at the pet-friendly malls.

Vista Mall and Starmall manifested support for the global campaign for the protection of pets and the rest of the animal kingdom. The activities provided our beloved pets to stroll and meet other pets whose routine morning walks were also probably affected during the COVID-19 lockdowns.
