'Amihan' to bring rain showers, cloudy skies over parts of PH

The northeast monsoon or "amihan" may continue to bring cloudy skies with rain showers over several parts of the country in the next 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Saturday morning, Oct. 30.
Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may prevail over Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may also persist over Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan, the rest of Visayas, and Mindanao.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country may also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
PAGASA reminded the public to remain vigilant against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, no gale warning is in effect as of Saturday morning.
PAGASA said moderate to rough seas may prevail over northern Luzon, while slight to moderate seas will likely persist over the rest of the country.
While PAGASA has not issued a gale warning, fishing boats and other small sea vessels are still advised to remain alert against big waves.
