People plunge into Manila Bay breakwater in Pasay

Several families enjoyed the cool water of Manila Bay at the breakwater along Macapagal Boulevard in Pasay City on Sunday, Oct. 3.

Hundreds of people plunged into the waters of Manila Bay amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic on Sunday at around 8 a.m.

The National Capital Region is still under the General Community Quarantine Alert Level 4 until Oct. 15.

Swimmers can be seen in photos that they failed to comply with the COVID-19 health and safety standards.
