Fans clamor for Season 3 of Edward's Kwentong Barber

Even before Edward Barber could say his "thank you" to his guest to bid goodbye to Season 2 of his popular Kumu online show "Kwentong Barber", fans already took to Twitter calling for the start of its next season.

Spoiled by Edward's irresistible charm, sprightly wit, and winsome way to ferret out stories from his guests, viewers tweeted their praises to show the producer, @myxglobal, that they are ready for season 3.

"What's nice with #Kwentong Barber is that you don't need to be a fan of the guest to enjoy the conversation. @Barber_Edward_ as the host makes it really interesting and engaging for the viewers. S3 soon please!!!! @myxglobal", one Twitter user wrote.

"And we did it guys â€¦,@Barber_Edward_ congratulations for another successful season. Hoping and praying for season 3. This is all for you Ed, you have our love and support juz saying", said another.

On Sept. 29, with "Hugot Queen" Moira dela Torre as his final guest, "Kwentong Barber", in less than an hour, received 2.138 million diamonds or virtual coins, its highest this second season.

His group of solid supporters called edward_chill_taggers was the top gifter followed by a group of MayWard loyal fans.

The handsome Kapamilya actor and host could not hide his appreciation for the overwhelming and unwavering support given to him by fans despite the ongoing pandemic.

Nadine Lustre, James Reid, Lea Salonga, Gary Valenciano were some of the stellar performers who got in the hot seat and delightfully shared their stories in the recently concluded season.

But then again, viewers want to hear more of the stars' "life, love, and everything in-between", and so the tweets for the clamor for season 3 just keep flooding.

In 2019, Edward was handpicked to complete the new MYX crew after winning the MYX Celebrity VJ award in 2018.
