Scottie Thompson's first signature shoe with renowned sports footwear and apparel brand World Balance will be launching "very soon."

The local shoe brand once again teased fans and showed a glimpse of the shoe silhouette, which seems to be clad in colors red, white, and black.

Even the shoebox, covered in red, tells a lot about Thompson's basketball career.

His signature shoe "World Balance Scottie 1" not only portrays the basketball player he is now but also his humble beginnings before even becoming one of the explosive cagers in the PBA.

"The sports industry is saturated by big brand players, but I choose a trustworthy local brand that provides quality and affordable shoes to the Pinoys," said Thompson in a statement.

"I knew with World Balance, I would have so much input creatively with my own signature basketball shoe, and hopefully provide the right gear to the aspiring Filipino athletes, whether they are playing on the streets, court, or campus.

"It really resonated with me to know that I could humbly represent and wear one of our own homegrown brands while playing on big arenas every game season, “yun ang may impact para sa akin," added the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel star.

First teased in May, the 28-year-old Thompson unveiled the logo for his signature line which both reflects the initial "S" and the number "6."

It also forms a slanted "S" which represents his readiness for action while the lightning on the "T" symbolizes his speed and explosiveness in-game.

The former Perpetual Help standout became the brand's image since the 80s era after the legacy left by PBA legend Philip Cezar.
