DFA: All consular offices nationwide closed on All Saints' Day
All consular offices of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) around the country, including its Office of Consular Affairs in Aseana in Parañaque City will be closed on Monday, Nov. 1, in observance of All Saints' Day.

Passport, authentication and other consular services will resume on Tuesday, Nov. 2, the department said.
It also advised the public that "schedules may be subject to sudden changes due to unforeseen circumstances or implemented policies of local government units and establishments which host the DFA Consular Offices."
The Foreign Affairs department also reiterated that the number of persons allowed inside COs at any given time is limited in accordance with the prescribed physical distancing measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
It added that applicants entering any of the department’s COs will also be subjected to a temperature check prior to entry and will be required to wear a mask and a face shield and must follow any other public health measures in place while inside the CO premises.
Meanwhile, DFA Secretary Teodoro Locsin asked for the public's understanding of the current situation of the country's passport appointment system as they continue to deal with thousands of passport application backlog.
"We have had to deal with a surge in applications this year, COVID limitations and our own people falling ill. We are working on adding more TOPS (temporary offsite passport services) for you and improving deliveries. Hoping for your understanding in these unprecedented times," Locsin said on Twitter on Thursday, Oct. 28.
