Cloudy with some rains on All Saints' Day, All Souls' Day in PH -- PAGASA

The northeast monsoon and shearline or tail-end of frontal system will trigger rains in the country on All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day, Nov. 1 and Nov. 2, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its special weather outlook.
On Saturday, Oct. 30, PAGASA said Southern Luzon and Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Mindanao will have fair weather conditions apart from isolated rain showers in the afternoon or evening, while the rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy with passing light rains.
From Sunday until Tuesday, Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, generally cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will prevail over Visayas and Mindanao.
PAGASA said that Northern Mindanao may experience "widespread" rains on Sunday and Monday.
The eastern section of Luzon will likewise be cloudy with rains due to the northeast monsoon or "amihan."
The rest of Luzon will still have mostly cloudy skies with passing light rains.
PAGASA also advised sea travelers in Luzon and Visayas to take precautionary measures against possible rough sea conditions.
"Sea travelers over the seaboards of Luzon and Visayas should exercise extra caution due to strong northeasterly winds that could generate big waves, while Mindanao will have light to moderate northeasterly surface winds with slight to moderate seas," PAGASA said.
