Pasig LGU ramps up online services; offers vaccine registration, contact tracing, financial transactions

Contact tracing, vaccine registration for adults and minors, property tax payment, and business permit payment are some of the services being offered by Pasig City’s online facilities.

The PasigPass online facility that was implemented in October, 2020 was updated on Oct. 27, 2021 to accommodate online vaccination registration for minors with comorbidities. It also allows parents to pre-register their children without comorbidities for the national rollout of pediatric vaccination.

Pediatric vaccination for minors with comorbidities began on Oct. 15 in select hospitals around NCR, including Pasig City General Hospital.

Aside from pediatric vaccination, the PasigPass health monitoring is a prerequisite for adult vaccination in Pasig.

Since October, 2020, PasigPass has allowed individuals to register a Quick Response (QR) code for convenient contract tracing as well as businesses to scan these QR codes for contract tracing purposes.

While PasigPass is not required upon entering the city, the Pasig City government implemented it in November, 2020, which has led to some businesses operating under a “No Pasig Pass, No entry” policy.

Pasig City also expanded its online facilities in April to offer real property tax payment and business permit renewal payment to all 30 Pasig barangays, transactions that previously required visits to the various Land Tax offices and the Business Permits and Licensing Office, respectively.
