Just months after her controversial publicized breakup with longtime partner, Paolo Contis, actress LJ Reyes did another interview with Boy Abunda.
But this time, they personally had the one-on-one at The Buren in Brooklyn, New York.
In there, the veteran TV host teased LJ by using Paolo's "as a friend" statement.
Recall that it was Paolo's explanation after he was sighted with leading lady Yen Santos in Baguio amid his breakup issue.
Tito Boy asked LJ: "Huling katanungan, sometimes in the future ba LJ, would you go to Baguio with someone as a friend?"
Seemingly caught off guard, LJ burst into laughter then answered: "Yes Tito Boy, why not!"
According to her, she's proud of Baguio as a Filipino.
"I mean maraming pwedeng puntahan du'n, maraming pwedeng kainan, so yes!"
Then she revealed that her former boyfriend and father of her eldest Aki, Paulo Avelino, is actually from Baguio.
"So may family dun si Aki, so pupunta talaga kami dun," she added in jest.
Meanwhile, in the same interview, the seasoned talk show host asked LJ if the father of her child Summer had already reached out to her. To which, she noted that no effort has done.
But has she already forgiven Paolo?
"It's a work in progress. Pinagdadasal ko na mapatawad ko siya because I know if I don't forgive him, this very dark emotion will just eat me up. And I'll won't be able to move on with my kids, move forward with my kids ng maayos - yung walang galit."
More than anything, LJ is thankful to all her supporters, who never failed to assure her that things would be alright.
LJ admitted that whenever she felt low, she would look up to netizens' heartwarming messages, which she claimed empowered and boosted her confidence.
She reiterated that the love and support of her loved ones really helped her a lot.
In terms of going back to the Philippines and joining showbiz again anytime, the Kapuso star said she doesn't want to close any door.
"Tito boy I'm thinking life one day at a time," was how LJ put it. "Ang hirap po magsalita na 'Hindi, dito na lang ako' or 'Oo, babalik ako' or 'Oo, pagbalik ko I will be back in show business.'"
"Hindi ko po alam what's gonna happen and I think Tito Boy, it's okay you don't know (the answer yet). It's okay to take your time. It's okay to give time to yourself, to heal, to figure out things. Kasi mahirap po kung mamadaliin yung mga bagay-bagay. At meron pong dalawang bata na umaasa sa akin. I feel like I cannot make any more wrong decisions."
