Bretman Rock slams the 'cistem' with a whimsical fairy look

Social media superstar Bretman Rock is ringing in the spooky season with looks and transformations that are total F-bombs.

In his latest post, the Fil-Am beauty vlogger turned himself into a fairy, a diwata in Filipino folklore. While him coming out of the water with his iridescent wings is definitely a fantasy personified, this transformation might have a deeper meaning when it comes to the LGBTQIA+ Community.

Fairy is a slang and a “derogatory term referring to someone perceived as non-heteronormative,” according to Montclair State University. Before, this term is a slur given to gay people. But over time, the queer community has reclaimed the term and used it affirmatively as a badge of pride.

Prior to giving us a diwata sighting, Bretman also donned a Liu Kang look from “Mortal Kombat,” hailing inspiration from the character's look from the game and the 1995 and 2021 movie versions.

We can't wait to see more of his transformations!
