Seventeen to hold online concert; sells 1.13 million copies of 'Attacca'

K-pop boy band Seventeen will be holding an online concert next month following the release of their new album “Attacca.”

In an announcement, Pledis Entertainment, the group’s agency, said Seventeen will hold the “Power of Love” online concert on Nov. 14 and 21.

However, the online concert will feature 11 members of Seventeen as Jun and The8 are in China for their individual activities.

“Please note that members Jun and The8 will regrettably be unable to participate in this concert, as they are currently focusing on their activities in China. We ask for your generous understanding,” said Pledis.

The two concert dates will feature the themes “Power” for Nov. 14 and “Love” for Nov. 21 and “some sequences and stages will be different for each concert's unique theme,” Pledis added. Each concert will start at 5 p.m. Korea Standard Time.

Tickets are priced at 49,500 won (about $42.4) for one-day pass and 90,000 won ($77) for two-day pass.

According to Pledis, tickets for the Nov. 14 concert will be available from Oct. 29 to Nov. 14 while for the Nov. 21 concert, it will be from Oct. 29 to Nov. 21. For the two-day pass, tickets will be sold from Oct. 29 to Nov. 14.

During their online press conference for “Attacca” last Oct. 22, Seventeen members were asked about their plans for any in-person concert.

“As for the in-person concert, the discussions are still underway endlessly and I’m sure many people are tired and exhausted by this prolonged situation and difficult times and we’re trying to pull ourselves together through these difficult times and wish to meet everyone as soon as possible so fighting,” said Dino.

On the other hand, “Attacca,” Seventeen’s ninth mini-album, has sold more than one million copies in five days.

According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, “Attacca” has sold 1,138,374 copies from Oct. 22 to 26. “Attacca” garnered 1.41 million copies in pre-orders in just one day. Seventeen’s last album “Your Choice” sold 1,364,127 copies in one week.
