NYC opens applications to AUSCU Conference

The National Youth Commission (NYC) is now accepting applications to the 5th ASEAN University Student Council Union (AUSCU) Conference.

The application is open to enrolled Filipino students aged 17 to 28, proficient in written and spoken English, and those who have a Philippine passport or Philippine Statistics Authority-issued birth certificate.

Youth delegates must also be willing to be NYC volunteers and must be able to attend and participate in the whole duration of the program online.

Interested participants must submit their applications online. For queries, participants may send them to [email protected] with the subject heading "Query: 5th AUSCU."

NYC will be nominating 10 youth delegates to the conference.

AUSCU will be held online from Dec. 5 to 8.

The conference provides a platform for the youth to deliberate on their role, engagement, and come up with recommendations to help ASEAN realize sustainable development and ensure the preparedness of ASEAN youth in the post-COVID-19 era.

NYC is in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Sports (MCYS) of Brunei Darussalam and AUSCU.
