In her official Facebook page, Abalos posted pictures of her checking on the situation of cemeteries and columbariums as the local government unit expects the influx of visitors after Metro Manila mayors, together with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), agreed to close all public and private cemeteries, columbariums, and memorial parks from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2.

MMDA issued Resolution No. 21-22, s. 202 to make sure that public health and safety protocols will be observed and that Undas 2021 will not be a super spreader event amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Instead, the resolution urges the public to visit their dearly departed earlier than Oct. 29 or later than Nov. 2 to avoid people from trooping during the said dates.

Abalos also visited the grave of her daughter Ciara and other departed loved ones.
