San Juan LGU distributes free medicine to residents

The San Juan City local government launched on Tuesday its free medicine distribution program for qualified residents of the city as it continues to boost the health care capabilities of the city.

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora said that the medicines will be available for distribution at the ground floor of the city hall. He added that the distribution is open everyday to all San Juaneños.

Zamora said the free medicines are also available in all barangay health centers. In case the needed medicine is not available, residents may file for medical assistance at the Public Assistance Center (PAC) at the city hall.

Some of the free medicines available include antibacterial and maintenance medicines; micronutrients; analgesics/antipyretics; antihistamine, antiasthmatics, antitussives; and Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs).

Zamora said the requirements needed for residents to avail of the free medicines are posted on his official Facebook page: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=477768237040927&id=100044232649112
