Plumber yields P240,000 worth of marijuana in QC buy-bust

A plumber was arrested after he yielded P240,000 worth of marijuana during a police buy-bust operation in Quezon City on Saturday, Oct. 23.

Police Lt. Col. Alexy Sonido, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Batasan Police Station chief, identified the suspect as Derick Dulatre, 24, of Brgy. Commonwealth.

Police operatives conducted an entrapment in Brgy. Commonwealth at around 9:40 p.m. after receiving a report from a confidential informant regarding the illegal activities of the suspect.

Authorities recovered from the suspect two kilograms of marijuana valued at P240,000, buy-bust money worth P10,000, and one SYM motorcycle.

Dularte will be charged for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, according to the QCPD.
